Head coach Charles Akonnor has urged his players to show more sharpness in attack as they prepare to face KCB FC on Sunday at Dandora Stadium.
Reflecting on the team’s recent performance, Akonnor admitted that while the win in our last outing was welcome, there is still plenty of room for improvement.
“We were very fortunate to win the last match. What we are lacking is the killer instinct in the final third,” he said.
The Ghanaian tactician revealed that the technical bench has been working hard with the players since their second game to address this weakness.
“In terms of how we play and keep possession, it has been good. Defensively we also need to do a little bit more. But the main concern remains how we create chances and convert them. We have worked on that, and we hope to see a big impact in the next match,” Akonnor added.
While we seek to build consistency after a mixed start to the season, Sunday’s clash offers another opportunity for us to refine our attacking play and build momentum.
