Gor Mahia FC is pleased to announce the return of defender Frank Odhiambo, who has re-joined the club from Swedish outfit Djurgardens IF on a two-year deal.
Frank is no stranger to K’Ogalo, having previously featured for the club during the 2020/21 season after rising through the ranks at Bonogaya Academy.
His performances during that period earned him a move to Djurgardens IF, where he signed a five-year contract and took the next step in his professional career.
The centre-back spent last season on loan at Swedish third-tier side Karlstad Fotboll, where he gained valuable experience, making 23 appearances, 11 of them as a starter.
His time in Sweden has helped sharpen his defensive awareness and composure, qualities he now brings back to Gor Mahia.
Frank’s return further strengthens an already experienced central defensive unit that includes internationals Michael Kibwage and Sylvester Owino, as well as the dependable Joshua Onyango. His familiarity with the club, combined with his exposure to European football, is expected to add depth, competition, and leadership at the back.
As he settles back into familiar surroundings, the Green Army will be hoping Frank Odhiambo’s homecoming plays a key role in the club’s ambitions over the next two seasons.
