Gor Mahia showed championship resilience as they came from behind to beat Bidco FC with a dramatic stoppage-time winner, extending their lead at the top of the table and sending the Green Army into raptures.
Bidco struck first when Brian Odoh rose highest to head the visitors into the lead in the 26th minute. The goal gave Bidco confidence, and they defended resolutely to carry a 1–0 advantage into the halftime break.
K’Ogalo emerged with renewed urgency in the second half, pushing higher up the pitch and increasing the tempo. The breakthrough came in the 58th minute when substitute Ebenezer Assifuah made an immediate impact, calmly finishing to restore parity and reignite belief among the green army.
From then on, Gor Mahia laid siege to the Bidco goal, creating a series of chances as they hunted for a winner. With the match seemingly drifting toward a draw, the decisive moment arrived deep into stoppage time.
Enock Morrison delivered a dangerous ball into the penalty area, which was deflected by a Bidco defender into the path of Paul Ochuoga. The defender kept his composure and guided the ball home to seal a crucial victory on the last minute of added time.
