Gor Mahia midfielder Enock Morrison cut a confident and refreshed figure as he spoke to local media after training ahead of today’s match against Tusker FC.
With the league resuming after the international break, the Ghanaian playmaker made it clear that K’Ogalo are returning with purpose, and with unfinished business.
Morrison didn’t mince his words when reflecting on last season’s missed points.
“Every point we lost to a team last season, we are going to make sure we take back those points,” he said, his voice steady with determination.
Having been one of the squad’s most consistent performers this season, the midfielder welcomed the timing of the international break. It offered a rare chance for him and several others to reboot after weeks of high-intensity matches.
“We are feeling very good. We’ve had enough rest. We were playing at a very high pace, and this break helped some of us who were playing consistently to recover. Now we are fresh, and coming back, we hope to continue where we stopped.”
For Morrison, every fixture is a final. He emphasized the team’s mindset heading into the next phase of the season one built on seriousness, hunger, and accountability.
“We take every game seriously. This season we want to win every game, so every match is important to us. We’re going to approach it the same way we approached the games we were winning, with full seriousness.”
The midfielder also spoke about his recent nomination for the SportPesa League Player of the Month (October) award a recognition that meant more to him than many might imagine.
“It was a great honor. Most fans look at those who score goals, and not everyone sees what we do in midfield. But if someone takes time to analyze our work in midfield and puts me as one of the players of the month, it is a good achievement. I will continue to work hard.”
With Morrison in this kind of form and with this kind of mentality, fans can expect a fierce, focused and fired-up K’Ogalo as the league battle intensifies.
