Gor Mahia have been drawn to face Dero FC in the Round of 64 of this year’s FKF Cup, with the match scheduled for the weekend of 7–8 February 2026 at a venue to be announced later.
The winner will advance to the next round and continue their pursuit of silverware, with the ultimate prize being qualification for the CAF Confederation Cup and a Sh3 million champion’s payout, an increase in prize money under the tournament’s expanded sponsorship.
The FKF Cup is Kenya’s premier knockout competition that brings together teams from all levels of the football pyramid, often leading to dramatic underdog stories and memorable upsets.
Dero FC is based in Siaya County and was founded in 2013 and has competed in local and regional leagues such as the FKF Nyanza Regional League and previously the FKF National Division II.
Gor Mahia are the most successful club in Kenyan football history and have won the Cup eight times.
